With plans first announced in 2014, Dominion Resources, Dominion Transmission and Atlantic Coast Pipeline, LLC intend to and are moving forward to build a natural gas pipeline from the coal fields of northern West Virginia through the George Washington National Forest in Virginia, and east and south through Virginia’s heartland to Raleigh, North Carolina and to our ports in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  The gas likely will be exported overseas to serve the energy needs of other countries and companies outside the United States.
